Spring Goat Walk

Got Your Goat Farm at 59 Wheaton Road in Washington Depot will hold a Welcome Spring Goat Walk on Sunday, March 26, from 11AM to 2PM.

Visitors can meet the goats personally, snuggle, feed and walk with them. They will learn that goats, highly social beings, really love people.

That will not be the only chance to meet the goats this spring, however. On Sunday, April 2nd, 10:30AM to 2:30PM. the farm will hold an Egg Hunt and Easter Party. The goats will hunt with visitors as they look for candy and special “goat treat” eggs. A Good Friday Egg Hunt and Easter Party will follow on Friday, Friday, April 7th, also from 10:30AM to 2:30PM.

The cost for the Welcome Spring Goat Walk is $25 per person; the egg hunts are $30 per child and adult with non-hunting babies admitted free.

The farm’s owner, Kristen Sassano Gill and her daughter, Elena started Got Your Goat Farm during Covid when, to escape isolation, they started to hike with their goats along a trail near their house. Elena later wanted to host birthday parties and their business was born.

Today they will bring the goats as star guests at children’s birthday parties and other gatherings, and welcome visitors to Got Your Goat farm to play in the fields with their four-footed friends.
