G. Wolff Pottery • The architecture of the piece is my passion and is why I can look at 18th and 19th century English flowerpots and centuries old Asian vases with the same eye and ask the same question: What makes this antique pot so wonderful? The answer always comes back to the architectural integrity of the pot and the potter's reverance and knowledge of the materials he is using.

Streams, waterfalls, terraces, retaining walls, rocks and plants are used not only to define areas but also to establish tension or motion. Innisfree is, unequivocally, an American garden. the lake is glacial, most of the plant material is native, and the rocks have come from the immediate forest. Innisfree is held in trust both for the people of New York and for people throughout the world to enjoy and study garden art.
