Berkshire Botanical Garden • Berkshire Botanical Garden is one of New England's oldest and most treasured public gardens. Established in 1934, its mission was to inspire and educate the community about responsible horticulture and home-grown food. Today, with a year-round schedule of garden classes and workshops, guest lecturers and special events, it is still dedicated to these founding values and to the preservation and improvement of the local environment. Open daily 9 am5 pm.
The Hebert Arboretum • The Hebert Arboretum is a living tree library located within one of Pittsfield's premier city resources, Springside Park. Encompassing 231 acres within the city, the park is a unique sanctuary for plant and animal life. Open year round.
Innisfree • From 1930 to 1960 Innisfree was the private garden of Walter and Marion Beck. At Innisfree the visitor strolls from one three-dimensional picture to another. Streams, waterfalls, terraces, retaining walls, rocks and plants are used not only to define areas but also to establish tension or motion. Innisfree is, unequivocally, an American garden. the lake is glacial, most of the plant material is native, and the rocks have come from the immediate forest. Innisfree is held in trust both for the people of New York and for people throughout the world to enjoy and study garden art.
Merwin House & Gardens • William and Elizabeth Doane purchased this handsome house in 1875 as their summer retreat. They named it "Tranquility," as it overlooks a peaceful bend in the Housatonic River.

Mission House & Gardens 1739 • Located on Main Street in Stockbridge, this National Historic Landmark was home to the first missionary to the Mohican Indians. It not only provides a glimpse into Colonial history but also the Native American tribe that lived here.
