Old Barn Farm

It's blueberry season and everywhere in the Berkshire area they are budding with the sweet taste of summer. Old Barn Farm is one of the most beautiful spots to collect them.

The farm, now in its sixth year, offers nineteen varieties of this delicious fruit - Duke, Patriot, Polaris and St. Cloud to name a few. You can pick your own from over five thousand bushes, bush to basket freshness you can find only in the fields.

Old Barn Farm is committed to protecting the environment and is continuously looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprint. They use solar panels, waste oil heaters and plant based, all natural pesticides.

Carl Contadini, owner and host, enjoys welcoming the many who arrive. "Half the fun is meeting nice people and there are many very nice ones", he said.

Visit them from 9 AM to 5 PM, Tuesdays through Sunday for ‘blueberries as big as the end of your thumb.' At 300 Bartholomew Hill in Goshen CT.
