Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival • Jacob's Pillow is a treasured National Historic Landmark and home to America's longest running international dance festival. Hotchkiss Library • The Hotchkiss Library of Sharon hosts noted local artists for group and one man shows. Ashley House • Built in 1735 by French and Indian War veteran Colonel John Ashley, this house is said to be the oldest complete house in the Berkshires. It is exquisitely decorated in Colonial period paneling, broad fireplace and staircase, hand carvings, ornaments and decorations and includes many items of pottery and tools. Ashley was a patriotic revolutionary and on this site in 1773 he helped draft the famous Sheffield Declaration, boldly vituperating the British Parliament.

Bidwell House and Gardens • The Bidwell House Museum is an elegant Georgian saltbox originally built circa 1750 as a parsonage. Chesterwood • Chesterwood, a National Trust Historic Site, is the country home, studio and gardens of Americas foremost sculptor of public monuments, Daniel Chester French (1850-1931), creator of the Minute Man and Abraham Lincoln for the Lincoln Memorial. Situated on 122 acres in the idyllic hamlet of Glendale near Stockbridge, Massachusetts, the property and its buildings were donated to the National Trust for Historic Preservation by Frenchs only child, Margaret French Cresson (1889-1973).
